Strollers and Baby Carriers
Prague
Week 1:
The stroller is humanity’s greatest invention.
The baby sleeps, you have a coffee, and the world makes sense.
“A baby carrier? That’s for hipsters from Karlín.”
Week 2:
The stroller is evolution’s greatest mistake.
The baby screams while you push 12 kg of anger uphill.
“The carrier is a miracle. Freedom at last!”
Week 3:
The carrier is punishment for every sin you’ve ever committed.
Your back is finished, your shirt is soaked, and the baby is furious because he can’t move. He wants only the stroller.
Please, stroller. Please.
Then the carrier comes back into fashion.
The baby sleeps on your chest, you’ve found your inner peace, and the stroller lasted a whole month.
And so it continues, over and over.
The child follows his own plan until eventually he refuses both the stroller and the carrier.
Great. What now?
